Americas Cardroom: Win 1 of 50 Trips to WSOP Main Event
Americas Cardroom, the US-facing site announced they will be qualifying at least 50 players to play in the biggest land-based tournament of the year, the $10,000 buy-in World Series of Poker Main Event.
The Main Event qualifier is scheduled for Sunday, July 2nd at 15:00 ET. The $540 buy-in event will award at least 50 players with a $12,500 package, including the $10,000 Main Event buy-in and $2,500 for travel expenses. That’s $625,000 guaranteed in total.
The qualifier takes place six days before the WSOP Main Event on July 8th at the Rio Hotel in Las Vegas, and the winners will be paid promptly.
Players who cash out using Bitcoin are guaranteed to receive their $12,500 within 24 hours.
Players can win their $540 qualifier seat leading up to the event via daily satellites, MEGA satellites, and Step Tournaments available in the Tournament Lobby.
Cash players can also win their $12,500 Main Event package instantly via the new “Buck Hunt” game. Americas Cardroom will randomly select cash game tables on which to display a flying chip. The first player at the table who clicks on it wins the designated prize. Special Jackpot poker games will also be available with a WSOP package as the top prize.
