NETWORK: Winning Poker Looks to Make Up for OSS IV Fiasco

January 10, 2015

Americas Cardroom’s much-hyped OSS IV (Online Super Series IV) ended in a bit of a fiasco in December. International connectivity issues – which by the way extended to other areas of the online poker universe too – forced the site to interrupt its biggest online series. For the organizers, this was obviously a tough pill to swallow, so tough in fact that they never really got over it: they’re planning a Rematch for it, kicking off on February 13 and wrapping up on February 22, 2015. While the original OSS IV was sweet indeed in regards to the guarantees it offered, the OSS IV Rematch will have $250K more tossed into the middle.

The OSS IV Rematch will feature some $2 Million in guaranteed prizes over 10 days and it will end in a Main Event, which features a $1 Million guarantee. The winner of the Main Event is guaranteed to take home a $200K prize. The OSS IV Rematch will feature a leader board competition as well, the winner of which will pocket some $500.

Americas Cardroom, Balck Chip Poker and True Poker are US-facing online poker rooms, which means US players are welcome at their tables. Satellites for the OSS IV Rematch are already running.
