Point Poker review
The company behind PointPoker is Entraction Operation Ltd. based in Malta. The licensing authority behind the site is the Lotteries and Gambling Authority of Malta, and the group that owns the operation is listed on the Stockholm Stock exchange. Entraction Operation has been providing online gambling and poker services for a while and its record has never been stained. Obviously, security and fair gaming is not an issue here.
Given that Entraction has been around the block a few times when it comes to online poker, its software is a reflection of the years of experience it has accumulated. It is currently probably the only online poker software which offers the same features for its downloadable and flash-based client. Software-wise, you’ll get a standard package at PointPoker: All the usual statistics and options, wrapped in a stable and reliable frame.
Despite the fact that PointPoker is relatively new on the online poker scene, it already boasts reasonably good traffic. The PointPoker rakeback has probably helped a lot in this respect.
The room also draws traffic from the Entraction network, which has about 800,000 registered players currently.
Point Poker offers an industry standard sign-up bonus and a variety of races, of which the PointPoker rakeback stands out particularly. There are freerolls offered as well though and rake races, which coupled with the PointPoker rakeback provide excellent value. Qualifiers for live events (like the European Masters of Poker) are also available.
US players are not accepted at PointPoker and word has it the room cannot even be accessed from a US IP. Obviously aimed at the northern Europen market, Point Poker supports several languages like Finnish, Swedish , Russian, Danish, German and English.
A wide variety of deposit and withdrawal methods are supported by PointPoker, including VISA, MasterCard, Neteller and WebMoney.
Point Poker have a license to operate in Denmark and will be accepted Danish players after 1st January 2012.
