The Revolution Gaming Network is a relatively new online poker entity, established by Lock Poker, through the acquisition of the Cake Network.
The software has always been an Achilles’ heel type of thing for the Cake network, so the new organization took it upon itself to tackle that issue, by revamping the package and launching a Mac-compatible client too.
Many of the original Cake network members were dropped after the takeover. Lock Poker have encountered some problems and they too have left the Revolution Gaming network a while ago. The player pool has remained shallow and the promotions re therefore somewhat mallow as well.
The promotions hosted by the new network will include: a $1 million RGN rake race, a sign-up bonus of 200% up to a maximum of $1k. Players will be offered 36% rakeback and they will get to take part in various online poker tournament series.
PowerPoker and Juicy Stakes are two of the RGN members.
