Absolute Poker-OLD: Sports Legends Challenge closed

Absolute Poker upcoming Sports Legends Challenge will set some of the greatest athletes, such as Sugar Ray Leonard, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Richard Petty, Troy Aikman, Reggie Jackson, Mike Ditka, Jerry West, Fuzzy Zoeller and many more against at least 25 of the world's most famous poker pros, such as Annie Duke and Phil Hellmuth.

How to qualify: Any new or existing Absolute Poker player who live and reside in the United States can compete in two different ways to qualify:

1. Through the Absolute Poker Sports Legends Special Giveaway, from July 20 to August 24, 2009 @ 7pm ET, Buy-in: 500 points.
2. Through the Step Tournament earn your Step 10 ticket and then race at the table for VIP Package to the Sports Legends Challenge.

If you win the Sports Legends Challenge Prize Package, your prize will receive the following:

- Round trip to and from the Bahamas
- Five nights accommodations
- $500 in cash
- Entry to a party where you'll join sports legends teams and meet your team's poker pro coach
- Multiple freeroll gaming tournaments of your choice
