Americas Cardroom: $1 Million Event Set for December

US-accepting online poker rooms have long been suffering now, with none of them able to mount any sort of a major event capable of attracting significant numbers of new players. That trend is about to be bucked this December, when Americas Cardroom will host an online tournament featuring a $1 million prize-pool. The exact date the tournament will take place is December 14, at 3:00 PM ET. The winner is guaranteed to take home a $200K prize.
Direct buy-ins for the event cost $540, but there will be no fewer than 600 satellites running for it too, offering a cheaper way in.
