PKR: Daniel O'Callaghan Becomes PKR Pro
Daniel O'Callaghan, the fresh winner of the PKR Live London has signed with the online poker room, becoming their in-house pro. He will represent the brand at various live poker events and he will play online at the site.
O'Callaghan's above said win netted him a £19k reward. While that may not seem like much in itself, the victorious foray was not the first one into the world of live PKR-sponsored events for O'Callaghan. He had made several deep runs in various events before his above said victory. In 2014 for instance, he finished second in the same event, so consistency is definitely not a problem with him.
This year, he bested a starting field of 280 players, becoming the first player in the history of the event to make the final table twice in a row.
